I hold a Master's in French literature and spent several years in France. I work professionally as an actor and director (and occasional puppeteer). I hold a MFA in acting and am currently pursuing my PhD in theatre. And theatre is a passion for me. I tutor the subjects I love. I hold an MFA in acting from Sarah Lawrence College, New York (2007). I have worked professionally as an actor and as a director. During my time at SLC I was involved in theatre outreach, which included running workshops for elementary school students. I also ran workshops in theatre as part of the Summer High School Writing intensive held at SLC. I taught theatre production at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, NC after graduating SLC. My directing credits include the Young and Hungry Festival, aimed at involving under 25s in theatre. I really enjoy coaching young people to connect with the text, their body, or their scene partner. I aim to be both caring and rigorous and to instil confidence and professionalism in my students.
